Fox News is a Slut says the Town Whore

As a disclaimer, I am not a Fox News connoisseur. It's nothing personal, I just prefer to read the news on websites as opposed to watching it on television or hearing it on the radio. Sometimes I dibble dabble with liberal websites to remind myself as to why I'm conservative.

This leads me to the attack on Fox News from the Obama Administration and the liberal media. Why on God's green earth do they feel so threatened? This is the thing, Fox News is different. She's the girl who doesn't bob her head to everything the teacher says and instead she offers the class the opposing view. She's the girl who doesn't want to buy a prom dress and go with the Homecoming King like the rest of the girls who are in awe of him.

That's why she's watched because she is original. As C.S. Lewis wrote, "if you simply try to tell the truth (without caring twopence how often it has been told before) you will, nine times out of ten, become original without ever having noticed it." Yeah, she's weird sometimes and creepy once in a while. However, she's alluring. She's Fox News, the new counter-culture.

LOL That was funny. Yes, she is alluring. She leaves some to the imagination.

It is weird to have an administration so blatantly single out a news organization like this. I am sure the Bush administration was no fan of MSNBC but they never said anything. At least while in office. The only time I remember them saying anything was when the NY Times wrote that piece which leaked terrorist monitoring techniques. I'd say that is legitimate. Singling out a news organization for uncovering disturbing things about your staff (or should I say Czars?) or have (admitted) conservative pundits criticize your policies is fair game. At least I thought it was under that pesky first amendment.

@Anonymous Thanks!! Fox News is an alluring kitten, isn't she? Heh.

@Gory I always respected the way President Bush restrained his verbal attacks for leaders of hostile countries, *not* his constituents. President Bush and his Administration never once unleashed upon Keith Olbermann or Rachel Maddow the way the Obama Administration has with Rush Limbaugh and Fox News. It looks very un-Presidential and petty to attack the very people and businesses you represent.

@Left_Coast_Rebel Thanks!! =)

Great site. Commended to me by Jack at Conservative Blogs Central. Send me an email would you? I'd like to exchange sites and cross promote. I'll talk your site up on the show - but give it a listen first and blah-blah-blah.

Good post!

The darkness (MSM) doesn't like the light shining down on them from the highest rated and watched news/ opinion network. Instead of atacking this light, they should be kindling a little light for themselves in respect to exposing ALL supposed truths in order to let the viewer decide what the truth is based on the "facts" presented. What has happened to journalism in America?

Love your blog and your profile picture!

Obama can't resist attacking Fox. His narcissism makes him attack, and he can't understand another more prudent mode of action.

Awesome blog, LL! Impressive and fresh take on the juggernaut, Fox News.

I just heard some new audio of Van Jones on Beck's show. Jones was saying if we can remove opposition media, then we can remove the opposition. (paraphrasing) That's scarier than Halloween!

@Jimmy Z - Ha. Thanks!!

@Zo - You ROCK!! Wuvs ya Zo!!

@James - Thanks!!

@Opus #6 - True. It seems like this Administration is very hyper-sensitive to criticism.

@Chris - Thanks Chris!! Hopefully, the opposition media (Fox) will always be.

They feel threatened because they command so many viewers each day. Obama should not be dabbling in the media. He gave the impression that he would be for any news agency that supports him instead of attacking his policies.

@James - Thanks for including me on "Dittos Rush!"

@corvedacosta - Agreed. The Obama Administration should be focused on doing their job and less concerned about the commentary from the news agencies.
